Terra Nova Yacht Club - Racing Schedule
All Sunday races start at 09:30AM with a skippers’ meeting to be held on the wharf at 9:00AM. The 10 minute countdown starts at 9:30 AM, and race boats will normally keep their own time during the Sunday races.
The Newfoundland Keelboat Championships are run by the local CYA racing committee. Ratings use PHRF for comparable boats.

The first race of the season. A simple triangular course in the arm. A chance to get your feet wet (literally or figuratively, take your choice). |

Holyrood Cup |
The silverware has been donated by the Town of Holyrood and it's a mighty trophy. Depending on the weather we might go around the island in Hr. Main Bay. |
August 23 |
Commodore's Cup |
Your chance to get your name on the venerable trophy donated by P. Derek Bowring, one of the Club's founders. |
September 13 |
Mate's Mug |
It doesn't have to be your mate in life, but the usual skipper has to move away from the wheel and let another call the shots. Remember the mate for the Mate's Mug must be a person who has not skippered the boat in any of the previous races. |
